You (The Customer) are entering into an agreement with Carl Edwardes Logistics Ltd (Silent Disco Division) refered herefter as CELLSD. These are our terms and conditions of hire that you are agreeing to by using our services. They set out what you can expect from CELLSD, and what is expected from you.

 

General

1) CELLSD want your event to be a success, and for you to have a good experience working with us. We undertake to be fair and reasonable, contactable and helpful.

2) CELLSD undertakes to provide you with the equipment you have booked, in working order, on the date(s) you agreed.

3) CELLSD checks and maintains all equipment thoroughly, but in the eventuality that damage occurs in transit or dispatch, you will not be charged for any equipment that doesn’t work on arrival. Please report this to us immediately, before the start of your event, and clearly mark affected equipment before returning. In the event that you do not familiarize yourself with our system and test it before your event please be aware that our scope for assisting you is more limited and we cannot offer a refund in these circumstances.

4) In the event of equipment variation or failure, provided your event can still take place with the equipment supplied this agreement remains intact.

5) CELLSD supplies and hosts many events in a variety of locations; CELLSD is happy to advise you and demonstrate our equipment in advance, such that you may check coverage range, audio connection, interference or any requirements specific to your event. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the equipment supplied is suitable for the customer’s specific purposes.

6) CELLSD will always do everything reasonably possible to honour your booking. In the unlikely event we have to cancel or vary your booking, howsoever caused, the maximum liability of CELLSD will be the return of any fees paid in lieu of unused equipment.

7) Should you wish to change or vary your booking, CELLSD will endeavor to accommodate this at any time. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of an event, a cancellation fee of 100% (of total bill) applies..

8) You undertake to pay all monies due within 28 days of your event.

9) You undertake to arrange access, and be reasonably contactable and available for delivery and the setting up of the equipment by our opperative on the day.checked and counted at the end of the event.

10) You agree to have all equipment returned after hire to be returned and without damage or loss.

 

Loss or damage to equipment

10a) You undertake to treat the equipment well, and return it in the condition provided.

11) You undertake that power supply be available from a clean connection to a mains power outlet.

12) Reasonable temporary loss or damage: If any headphones are missing or  damaged (unusable) you agree to pay us a replacement cost of £30.00 per headphone,..

13) Unreasonable loss or damage to the transmitters. CELLSD reserves the right to charge the full replacement cost of £30 per headphone and £100 per transmitter.

14) In the event of a major incident affecting the event you are still lible for the safety of all equipment hired under the contract.

15) CELLSD reserves the right to claim for any other losses resulting from unreasonable loss or damage, or major incidents, including, but not limited to, time and expense, and loss of revenue.

 

Confirmation

16) The issue of this contract confirms your intention to book, and together with the invoice or quotation provided, outlines the agreement you have made with CELLSD. You are deemed to have accepted it after making the payment and or deposit, whichever is first.

 

17) This is to be attached and used as an addendum to the main contract form downloadable at the time of payment.
